We have a large collection of Mary Ewald various art forms. Pen and Ink, canvas bags, and ornaments. She loved cats and many of her cat pieces are adorable and super whimsical.
Her art work was often showed at the Coach House Gallery that was located on Van Dyke Place in the West Village in Detroit, Michigan. Please see the last photo for an old newspaper article in reference to her showing at the gallery. Detroit Free Press dated Dec. 3, 1981.

This charming, happy Christmas cat is just precious with a little holly on the top of her head . Handmade and hand painted. Wonderful red and gold bric brac with blue sequins. Not signed by the artist but we know with out a doubt it is Mary Ewald.
