Vintage Chalkware Bulldog Carnival Prize 40's American Bully

This is an adorable vintage chalkware bulldog that was most likely given out as a carnival prize during the 1940’s. This is a great find for bulldog lover or collector of vintage chalkware figures. This measures 5 ½” tall by 5” long by 3” wide. He does have some edge wear from age and a small chip on his right ear. I don’t see any markings. Because these were mass produced at a low cost, he does have a few areas that had air bubbles that burst after firing and glazing, but it adds to his charm. It looks like his right front paw may have been broken off at some time in the past, however, it has been very well repaired.
