Vintage Candle Wax Vase by Frantisek Peceny for Hermanova Hut from 1970. Model number 20245. No chips, cracks or damage. Measures 9 inches high x 3.25 inches in diameter. Weighs 2 pounds 11 ounces.
A very distinctive moulded and textured glass vase, this is known as the “candle wax” vase and was designed by Frantisek Peceny in 1974 for Hermanova Hut, part of the Sklo Union group of Czech glassworks.
This is a typical bit of mid-century design and a practical and durable mid-sized vase which would look lovely in a modern setting.
In great undamaged condition.
