COOGI, a men's knitwear brand from Australia, was established in 1969. Gaining popularity in the 90s, particularly within the HIP HOP scene, various artists and celebrities continued to wear the colorful knitwear, establishing a solid position as a knitwear brand.

And now, with the resurgence of 90s fashion, it's attracting attention again, mainly within the HIP HOP scene.

Characterized by bold designs, three-dimensional weaving, and a thick silhouette, this unique pattern, unlike any other, has come to be known as the "COOGI pattern."

Not limited to the HIPHOP world, celebrities worldwide, and stylish Japanese celebrities such as Takeshi Kitano and Masaki Suda, are fans.

So-called COOGI knitwear often features organic designs and vibrant colors, but this product has a grid design reminiscent of Anni Albers' textiles. The design uses black/gray/red as the main colors, with blue, yellow, and white as accent colors, creating an achromatic + 3-color scheme. It can be worn in a modern style even today.

Purchased from a vintage shop in San Francisco.

I have never seen a design/color scheme like this, let alone one similar. I believe it is a very valuable item. Although it is vintage, there are no noticeable scratches or stains, and I think it can be worn many times in the future.
